Introduce yourself! Tell us your name and a little about your shop.
Ashley Egan. We make handmade soy candles inspired by the geeky, nerdy, freaky, & passionate things in life from comics to books to TV & beyond! We hope to expand to include bath and beauty products soon!

How did you come up with your shop name?
I'm learning French and have always loved the language, so I thought it would be a unique and elegant way of making our shop stand out.

You're at Starbucks. What do you order?
If it's Autumn then a Pumpkin Spice Frappe. If it's not Autumn, a Caramel Frappe (or any Frappe really).

Okay, so you're crafting. What do you have playing in the background?
We put our Pandora account on shuffle and get a wide mix of music but mostly classic to modern rock. Sometimes we'll watch TV or a movie depending on our mood.

What's your go-to snack to munch on while you work?
Cheese.

What's your favorite geeky product to make and why?
Our "Want To Play A Game?" candle, because the marbleization process is beautiful to watch (but messy).

What are you looking forward to the most for your business?
We are a very new shop, so we are mainly looking forward to building our following, making more sales, and expanding our product line.
